About Relish Chefs

Relish Chefs connects private chefs and catering professionals with clients looking for food and hospitality services. Your profile lets you showcase your experience, menus, photographs, services and prices so potential clients can discover you.

You can select the services you provide, including private chef experiences at home, small events, larger events, cookery courses and wider catering. If you work with a team, you can explain this on your profile.

Yes. Registration is free, and there is no commission on bookings made through Relish Chefs up to and including 31 December 2027.

You can select up to three locations for your profile. Choose places where you genuinely offer your services and can fulfil bookings. Clients search by location, so your profile can only appear in locations available on the platform.

Provide a clear biography, details of your experience and services, menus, photographs and your minimum prices. We recommend including at least three menus and eight good-quality photographs to help clients understand your style and offering.

Incomplete chef profiles will be deleted after 14 days.

Enquiries and Clients

Clients can discover your profile through location searches or submit a Find a Chef enquiry. They can browse profiles without registering but must create a client account to contact you or submit an enquiry.

There are two ways an enquiry may be handled:

  • Personal introduction: Relish Chefs reviews the enquiry and may select a suitable chef. We ask the client for permission before sharing their details with you.
  • System matching: An enquiry may be made available to chefs whose location, services, availability and pricing appear to match the client's requirements. The first three chefs to contact the client are considered for that enquiry.

Being matched does not guarantee a booking, and you can decline an enquiry that isn't suitable for you.

When a client expresses interest through your profile, you should respond through the Relish Chefs messaging system. For system-matched enquiries, chefs initiate contact through the platform.

Client email addresses are not visible to chefs. Communication takes place through the platform's messaging system, helping protect client privacy and keeping enquiries in one place.

If you intend to send another chef or provide a team rather than personally deliver the service, explain this clearly to the client and obtain their agreement before confirming the arrangement.

Prices, Bookings and Payments

Your profile asks for your minimum price per person and your minimum group price. These figures should reflect the lowest prices you're genuinely prepared to accept for the service described. Your minimum per-person price should include ingredients under the current pricing model.

These are guide prices, not guaranteed final quotes. Make sure you can deliver the service at the prices displayed or clearly explain any additional costs.

Yes. Discuss the client's requirements and provide a final proposal based on the agreed menu, group size, service, location and any other relevant costs. The client can ask questions or request changes before deciding whether to proceed.

You and the client arrange the booking directly, including the final price, menu, date, service details, payment method, currency, payment schedule and cancellation terms.

Relish Chefs currently introduces clients to chefs but does not confirm or manage bookings on your behalf, process payments or hold client funds.

Yes. Under the current model, you and the client can arrange the booking and payment directly. There is no Relish Chefs commission on bookings through 31 December 2027.

You are responsible for meeting the legal and business requirements that apply to your work, including tax, VAT where applicable, insurance, food hygiene and any necessary qualifications or right to work.

Agree cancellation terms and any applicable charges with the client before confirming the booking. If a problem arises, communicate directly with the client to try to resolve it. Relish Chefs does not manage bookings or payments, but clients may contact us to report concerns about their experience.

Reviews and Account Management

Clients can submit reviews through the Relish Chefs website following a booking. Reviews may be checked by the platform, but we do not guarantee independent verification of every booking or service. Not every chef will have reviews displayed.

We review profiles for completeness and quality and may use publicly available information when assessing them. However, we do not carry out formal background checks or independently verify every qualification, certificate, insurance policy or claim about experience. You are responsible for ensuring your profile is accurate and your documents and credentials are valid.

Keep your profile, services, menus, prices and availability accurate so clients can make informed enquiries. Use the available profile-editing features on the platform. If you cannot update something, contact us for assistance.

To request account deletion, email info@relishchefs.com. Incomplete profiles may be deleted after 14 days, as described above.
